SDV Team 1

SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team ONE (SDVT-1)

SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team ONE traces its lineage to Underwater Demolition Team 12 and was established as a dedicated SDV team in 1983, relocating from Coronado to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in 1994. Its SEALs operate manned submersibles that deliver swimmers and equipment underwater over distances too far to swim. It was administratively reassigned to the newly formed Naval Special Warfare Group 8 in August 2021, after its former parent, Naval Special Warfare Group 3, was disestablished. It is oriented toward the Pacific and Central Command regions.
